If you’re reading this, you’re probably considering getting started with CrossFit. One of the biggest questions that we get is how do we onboard new members that are beginners to CrossFit.   But fear not, because you’re not alone. At our CrossFit gym, we’re all about community and support, and we’d be thrilled to welcome you to our community!


So, what can you expect as a new member? Let’s break it down:

Step 1: The Introduction

First things first, let’s get to know each other! When you walk through our doors for the first time (or contact us online), we’ll get to know a bit about your fitness background (if you don’t have one, that’s just fine) and your goals. If you stop by in person, we’ll take you on a tour of the facility, introduce you to our coaches, and show you where everything is located. Don’t be shy—ask questions and express any concerns you may have so we can get those addressed.

Step 2: Jumpstart Course

CrossFit is all about functional movements performed at high intensity, but safety is our top priority. That’s why we require all new members to complete our Foundations Course which we call Jumpstart. During this series of sessions, you’ll learn the fundamental movements of CrossFit, proper form and technique, and how to scale workouts to your fitness level. It’s like building a strong foundation for a house—you wouldn’t want to skip this step!

Step 3: Graduation to Regular Classes

Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll be ready to join our regular CrossFit classes. But don’t worry, we won’t throw you to the wolves just yet. Our coaches are here to guide you every step of the way, providing modifications and encouragement as needed. Plus, you’ll have the support of your fellow members cheering you on during workouts. Trust us, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment after conquering a tough workout together.

Step 4: Embracing the Community

One of the things that sets CrossFit apart from other fitness programs is its strong sense of community. From day one, you’ll be welcomed into our tight-knit family of members who are all striving to become the best versions of themselves. Whether you’re celebrating a PR (personal record) or pushing through a challenging workout, you’ll always have a cheering squad by your side.

Step 5: Continued Growth and Support

Your journey doesn’t end once you’ve mastered the basics. In fact, it’s just the beginning. At our gym, we’re committed to helping you achieve your goals, whether that’s improving your strength, losing weight, or simply living a healthier lifestyle. Our coaches will work with you to create training plans, offer nutritional guidance, and provide ongoing support every step of the way.
